We as Parents, Coaches, Players,
Spectators often yell out "Offside" during the course of a game...But do you know there are FOUR
determining factors to the offside rule. *In the opponent's half of the field, AND *Nearer the opponent's
goal line than the ball, AND *Nearer the opponent's goal line than the second last opponent, AND *REFEREE DETERMINES
THAT YOU HAVE PARTICIPATED IN THE AREA OF ACTIVE PLAY Of course there are some exceptions to this rule. You CANNOT
be offside if: *You receive the ball from a throw-in *You receive
the ball directly from a goal kick *You receive the ball directly from a corner kick
